BGC of NCC Programs
In the vibrant and nurturing environment of the Boys and Girls Club, a diverse array of programs unfolds to inspire and empower young minds. These programs serve as dynamic platforms, fostering creativity, skill development, and camaraderie among the club's members.
Power Hour
Reinforces and enhances the skills and knowledge young people learn at school during the hours they spend at the club. Power Hour provides homework help, academic tutoring, and high yield learning activities to encourage youth to become independent learners. This hour is held daily.
Coaching Boys to Men
Coaching Boys to Men represents a targeted effort to engage young boys in discussions and activities that reinforce character, leadership, and positive behavior. This program is a part of our Healthy Lifestyles Grant.
Smart Girls

Through dynamic sessions, participatory activities, and mentoring opportunities, Club girls will explore their own societal attitudes and values as they build skills for eating right, staying physically fit, getting good health care and developing positive relationships with peers and adults.
Healthy Habits ​

Healthy Habits is designed to incorporate living and active learning in every part of the Club Experience. This program also emphasizes good nutrition, regular physical activity, and improving overall well-being.
Triple Play - Mind, Body, & Soul​
​
Mind: Designed to teach young people about the benefits of developing healthy habits such as eating smart and being physically active; equip young people with skills to adopt healthier habits by participating in fun and engaging activities learning activities both at the Club and at home.
Body: Encourage youth to become more physically active through fun fitness routines. Leadership Clubs infuse small-group leadership and service into active play.
Soul: Includes strengthening interpersonal skills, positive behavior and good character through social recreation groups.
